It takes time to build meaningful and trusting relationships. I found that for me to get where I am today I needed to go through a healing process with the loved ones in my life. I am so grateful to be able to have my family and my children in my life today.

I truly know that if I hadn't gotten clean and found a new way to live I wouldn't cherish and love the relationships the way I do today. I have meaningful relationships with substance today and I wouldn't jeopardize that for anything. I remember when I shut out my family and shut my feelings off. Those days are over and I live on a natural high of life and I am reaching higher standards of living than any I ever experienced.
